Hailing all the way from Columbus, Georgia is
the “Sexy Diva of Southern Soul”, Janelle
Moore. Janell has been singing all her life. She
first noticed her talent for singing at the tender
age of four years old when her family would
always have her sing for everyone. Janell
starting singing amateurly and professional in
church as a leader in the choir, praise team,
and multiple groups. Music has been apart of
her life since she could remember.
Naturally, Janell began to blossom from the
front. And before long she began to sing
professionally as the lead of many quartets,
choirs , & women’s groups. She’s so humble
that she’ll never say it, but it became evident
that her talent would take her much further than
a member of a group. About 10 years ago
Janell began her solo career as a gospel
singer. She released her first single “In Love
With Jesus”. Later the same year she went from
church music to Southern Soul because she
experienced a lot in a relationship that she
didn’t want to talk about. So, she decided to
sing about it. Janell jumped headfirst into world
of Southern Soul with her debut single “Single
Life”. She then followed up with her hit single
Came To Party. She is now touring her new hits
“Pain Run Deep” “I Still Love You”, “&
“Birthday”’. Which is the ones expected by
critics to launch her into superstardom. She is
currently working with Magic one. One of the
biggest Southern Soul acts coming out of LA.

Q. Hi Camille, thanks for sharing your story
with us. To start, maybe you can tell our
readers some of your backstory.
A. I started posting in 2020, starting with
body positivity and comfortability. I believe
women of all shapes and sizes should be
comfortable in the skin they live in. I
would’ve never thought that I would have
over forty thousand followers on instagram.
I started with posting myself and my
journey with confidence and self love. I truly
believe everyone should be in love with
themselves.
Q. We all face challenges, but looking back
would you describe it as a relatively smooth
road?
A. The only struggle I have faced in my
social media journey is self doubt. I get in
my head about almost everything I post
online especially the 1st hour or 2 after I
upload but a lot of times I have to slow
down and talk to myself more than I listen
to myself. Manifestation and affirmations
help with easing my mind. The internet is
so broad and it’s such a main form of
entertainment and sometimes it can be
overwhelming with that many eyes on you
but it also reassures me that people out
there enjoy my content and that I am a role
model and influential person.

you can tell us a bit more about your work?
A. I am an aspiring influencer/ content
creator. I’m known for my sense of fashion
and style and preaching the art of
confidence. I am so proud of the open
minded , self assertive woman I am today .
My dream would be to have my own
clothing brand that focuses on self love ,
good energy and body positivity for women

and Community! Having these things helps
me in my everyday life inside and outside
the social world. It’s important to have
people in your life that want to see you
grow and will support you. It’s also
important for to be self aware so I know

Q. Hey everyone it’s ya boy Darren Southern Plug Brown,
here with a mega Southern Plug Exclusive. Introducing to
some, the uber talented and beautiful Tasia B. So, tell our
readers that may not be familiar with you or your work just
who you are and what it is that you do exactly.
A. My name is Shontasia Brown otherwise known as Tasia
B. I am a lyricist who raps and sings. You can check my
work out on YouTube and Instagram at 1TasiaB. I released
four songs with videos and am preparing for the release of
the first song from my upcoming Mixtape OSO (oh-so)
Carolina on 25 January 2025.
Q. So, what inspired you to start your journey as a hip hop r&b artist?
A. I come from a musically gifted family my brother is Keezo
the rapper, Uncle Sam the producer is my cousin and Mike
Smith the R&B phenom (God Bless the passed away) is
also my cousin. The death of my mother and grandmother
was the spark that lit the flame which resulted in my
embarking on the career I have been pursuing the past five
years.
Q. How and when did you coin your stage name and how
do you feel that title fits you?
A. My original stage name was my family nickname TayyB
with Tayy being short fort Shontasia and the B for my last
name Brown. Attorney Bernie Lawrence-Watkins (out of
Atlanta) searched the quote-on-quote-on-quote and she
found that the name TayB was already trademarked by a
rapper signed to Giant Records. My production company
Strong Link Music Group suggested a name change and we
have begun the trademark process for the name Tasia B my
present and final stage name.
Q. Do you have any upcoming projects or announcements
to make?
A. We are preparing for the drop of the mixtape OSO (OhSo) Carolina. The first single from this project is Buss
Down, scheduled for release on social media on 1/25/25.
The mixtape will also feature the anthem “OSO Carolina.”
My production company Strong Link will be pursuing a
major label partnership with the release of the mixtape.
Q. What would you say is the quote-on-quote secret recipe for your success?
A. Hard work, prayer, staying true to myself and my music and working with a good team.
Q. What is your favorite part about being a rap star?
A. My favorite part of what I do is performing. I enjoy seeing how people react
to my lyrics when I’m rapping or singing and it’s funny because I think
they don’t expect what they get from a female with such a small stature,
lol!
Q. Name a time where you've faced adversity in your career? And,
what impact did it have on you or your career?
A. as a female rapper I face adversity every day. Rapping is
geared mostly around men and there are only a few female rappers
who are taken seriously. I strive to be in that group of ladies who
are considered dope as fuck.
Q. Is there something in specific that you want people to know
about you or your art?
A. I want people to know I do music because I love it. Not for just
the money or the fame but because I really enjoy being creative
musically and it makes me feel good, you know all warm and fuzzy
inside. I write my own lyrics but I would like to work with some other
writers for sure. I lay my own vocals in ProTools and prepare my
songs myself in my computer before entering the studio.
Q. Okay, so its no secert you are a very attractive person. Our men
readers would like to know, are you boo'd up or what? If so spilt the
tea. Who's the lucky guy?
A. Pretty boring right now because unfortunately I am not “boo’d” up
at the moment, just concentrating on my career. However, if
the right situation presents itself I am open to the possibility
of being “boo’d up.”
Q. How do you juggle your personal life and professional life?
A. Music is pretty much totally my life right now but I do try to
balance my time with things I enjoy doing like reading,
googling things I find interesting and traveling whenever the
opportunity presents itself. “All work and no play make Jill a dull
girl”, I must make time to “Jill” off, lol J.
Q. What advice would you give those wanting to start their journey
in music?
A. Stay focused and find a good team, one that supports you and
pushes you to be better. Everyone needs help, you can’t do it
alone.
Q. Who would you say is your biggest inspiration and why?
A. Beyoncé is my biggest inspiration. I look to how she eases through performances and owns
the stage. I love her versatility and ability to move between musical genres with her songs.
Q. Ok we do this every interview! What creatives would you absolutely die to work with?
A. I would love to work with Chris Brown. He is the modern Michael Jackson. He always remains
fresh to the ears even though he’s been in the game a long time. On the rapper side the list is
long, too long to name them all but I would like to work with Lil Wayne, Lil Baby and Future. and
for my females I would say Dej Loaf, Latto, and Megan the Stallion. I wouldn’t mind Glorilla as
well.
Q. Tell our readers how they can book you and connect with you on the world wide web and on
the socials.

Confident, hard-hitting rapper Sally Sossa delivers biographical
tales that occasionally betray her sensitive side. Although the
Houston native has cited the likes of Nicki Minaj and early
supporter Lil Durk as influences, Sossa quickly distinguished
herself after uploading her first recordings while in high
school. She made her label debut as a teenager in 2020 and has
since released Life of Sossa (2021) and 4EVER SOSSA (2022), projects
highlighted by hits such as the Durk collaboration "Star Song" and the Flo
Milli-assisted "Toot It Up." Born in 2002, Sossa learned to rhyme -- and
developed a competitive spirit -- during the many family rap battles that
permeated her youth. In high school, she fed much of this determination
into playing basketball. However, when an injury forced her to take time out
from the sport, building a rap career became her number one priority. By age
17, she had uploaded numerous tracks and mixtapes online, transforming
from an artist with local support to one with the backing of
established names in the industry. Early on, Lil Durk
become a key mentor. He almost signed Sossa independently, but eventually she chose a deal with Listen to the
Kids, an imprint patronized by the major label Interscope.
In 2020, "Who You Are," the first track released as part of
the contract, achieved 500,000 streams within a matter of
months. This was swiftly followed by "A Letter to the
Streets," "GMFU," and "100 Flows," pieces that all ultimately appeared on Life of Sossa, issued in September 2021. While those tracks were filled with
attitude, tempered piano-led material such as "Need
Me" and "It Ain't Love" brought her softer side to
the fore. The latter track included a reference to
her grandfather, an early champion of her
talent who died before Sossa's career had
begun to blossom. Another ballad, the
Lil Durk collaboration "Star Song,"
became Sossa's most streamed song
to that point. Life of Sossa wasn't even
a week old when she released "TMU," the
first track from her follow-up project. By the
end of the following March, she issued 4EVER
SOSSA, an EP. An expanded deluxe edition of the
set was out that September, and it was soon trailed
by singles such as "Real Freak" and her first 2023 offering,
"Never Be the Same.
Sally Sossa has proven to be the next voice out of the Houston rap scene. The recent high school graduate has excelled in the books and the industry as she became the first female talent under Interscope’s joint venture with LISTEN TO THE KIDS. Impressing the industry with her 2019 mixtape series, In late 2020 the emerging artist dropped her label debut project “Life of Sossa” which has garnered over 31 million streams globally and includes fan favorite “Star Song” feat. Lil Durk. The single currently has over 25 million streams on spotify and over 1.5 million creates on tik tok. Sally’s new project, “4EVER SOSSA” includes fan favorites, TMU & Moncler Coat and features a guest appearance from Flo Milli on the lead single "Toot It Up". It also highlights her versatility- from her melodic flows to hard-hitting bars, she shows she can hang with any of her peers, men and women alike.
Inspired by the likes of Lil Durk and Nicki Minaj, Sossa’s voice in hip-hop is one of heart and strength with each release setting her apart from her peers. “I want my fans to know that I’m real, I’m authentic, I’m me, and I’m making music to help them,” she says. “I’m growing with my fan base and they’re growing with me.”
