Get To Know MC Snillow


Mgbako Chukwuma Snillow also known as MC Snillow is the CEO and founder of kapon empire/ kodorojo limited, which is a record label and charity organization. MC Snillow is an activist, a humanitarian, musician and talent manager. Snillow started his music journey at the age of six, rapping and jumping over people's songs. Born and raised in Enugu (coal city) by anambra state parents, MC snillow grew up in a music family. His late grand father was a popular flutist, and also a part of a traditional music band that covered many prestigious events in Enugwu ukwu village in anambra, where he lived. MC snillow's father grew up and became a popular DJ known as odo disco in the 70(s) and early 80(s). While Snillow's grandma was in a traditional dance group, Snillow's mum was a chorister in the church choir. As a kid, he was encouraged to join the church choir by his mum. Nobody knew the stuff he was blessed with till he started free-styling and winning rap battles in this hood as a teenager.After his graduation from the university, MC Snillow decided to take things to the next level by launching his own label, kapon empire, in 2016 to aid him and other musicians put out their own music. He signed many artists to his label. As time went on, he part ways with a few of his artists, leaving only PG and DONADON to continue the journey with him. As an activist…MC Snillow uses his voice and music to speak for the ghetto and the oppressed people in Africa. Most recently, he have been very vocal about the killing of biafrans in Nigeria. He has been in front line of many protests, most noticeable was the end sars campaign which was aimed at putting an end to police brutality in his region. As a humanitarian...MC Snillow uses his Kapon empire foundation to reach out to underprivileged kids. His foundation also aids elderly people and widows, etc. As a musician... In 2018, he surprised the world when he went from being a manager to a recording artist with the release of the music, I STILL SEE NO CHANGE, a conscious song that addresses socio economic and political issues happening in West Africa, and the world. But due to the song’s political content, it was banned by the government of the day. Fortunately, the song found it ways to the international community and gained some amount of airplay that made MC Snillow to be nominated for 2020 indie music award in Florida, and DET DETROIT music award. In 2020, he teamed up with flak Gaza, a New York based rapper to make a wonderful song called “scared of our brothers”. He’s expected to drop a new single called I can’t breathe with 2-slik who is a white rapper from South Carolina. Also, he’s done another unreleased song called “what’s going on”, in the song, he featured “turq sane”, a female rapper from Detroit. As RADIO SHOW HOST….MC Snillow has a radio show called african voice which airs on blessings 107.3fm radio in New York. MC Snillow was nominated for 2020 indie music award in Florida, he was also nominated for DET music award in Detroit. And lots more. While he stands at as the recipient of sistah soldiers in the trenches award, to mention but a few. After writing for so many magazines in America like verb’z up magazine in Las Vegas, blessings magazine in New York, to mention but a few, Snillow took things to another level by launching his own global Kapon empire magazine.
