Get To Know Award Winning Gospel Artist Choirboi Cam

A contemporary Christian artist who presents an eclectic mix of praise & worship music, hip-hop, contemporary gospel, and the harmony vocal music of his childhood, Choirboi Cam emerged with his first album, War Zone, as a young teen in 2014. His third full-length release, 2019's Growing Pains, marked his debut in the Top Ten of Billboard's gospel albums chart. A native of Piedmont, South Carolina, Cameron Owens Hunter sang with his family in church from a young age. He started writing his own music, adopted the alias Choirboi Cam, and began touring by his mid-teens. His first album, War Zone, appeared in 2014. Still a high school student at the time, his second long-player, 2016's The Destiny Project, reflected a more mature outlook gained from growth and travel. By that time, he was involved in anti-bullying advocacy and was part of the Now Network reality series More Than Music. He issued the EP Against the Wall in 2017, then expanded it for the full-length Growing Pains, which followed in 2019. It climbed to number nine on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart as well as landing on the Heatseekers and Independent Albums chart.

Three years following the success of his Billboard Top 10 Album "Growing Pains," ChoirBoi Cam returns with his latest single "Replay," released on March 22nd. This new single, characterized by uplifting lyrics and a contemporary sound, promises to be a significant testament to the enduring grace and mercy of God.

Hailing from Upstate, South Carolina, ChoirBoi Cam has spent 25 years spreading the message of faith through his music and sermons worldwide. Holding the position of National Pastor at Greater Grace Global, a network of churches spanning the United States, Cam is also a distinguished artist, recognized with multiple Stellar Award nominations. His musical journey began with the release of his debut album "War Zone" as a teenager in 2014, culminating in his breakthrough achievement with "Growing Pains" reaching the Top Ten of Billboard's gospel albums chart in 2019.

Presently, Cam serves as a worship leader at the Faith Center in Piedmont, SC, and at Relentless Church in Greenville, SC. His overarching vision is to empower leaders across the nation and awaken individuals to the latent potential and divine strength instilled within them.
