On Sunday April 16, 2023 Columbia, SC based Southern Plug Magazine presented the 4th Annual Southern Plug Music Awards in Augusta, GA at Ikonz Event Center! A Southern based music festival founded and produced annually by Fairfield County native, Darren James-Brown Sr. James-Brown said " I am really pleased with the turnout and the evolution of our award show. To go from a small show honoring mostly SC entertainers to a brand that connects with Southern artists across the map is so surreal and humbling." The award show weekend featured a host major and independent artists such as Comic View legend Doo Doo Brown, Pretti Emage and Yung Truez from Florida and many more. 35+ winners were crowned and over 25 plus special guests were honored by Southern Plug and Da N'dustry Plug Magazines.
